Founded in 2012 by a team of engineers and physicists, Teviso Sensor Technologies Ltd. emerged in response to the global demand for radiation measurement devices following the Fukushima disaster. At that time, Geiger counters were sold out worldwide, highlighting the need for innovative solutions.
Our mission was clear: to develop a compact, robust, and highly precise sensor for radioactive radiation. Achieving this ambitious goal required cutting-edge technology based on semiconductors and PIN diodes as radiation sensors. A Decade of Excellence
Today, Teviso is proud to have produced thousands of high-performance sensors for alpha, beta, and gamma radiation. In recent years, our production processes have evolved from manual assembly to increased automation, enabling us to offer competitive pricing - especially for OEM customers with contractually agreed purchase quantities.
A Growing Future
Following strong sales growth in 2023 and 2024, along with promising forecasts for 2025, we made the strategic decision to split Teviso into two divisions: TVISO Sales and TEVISO R&D.
- TEVISO Sales has relocated to a new facility in Esslingen, Zurich, Switzerland, to better serve our customers and support growing demand.
- TEVISO R&D remains in Männedorf, Zurich, Switzerland, focusing on pioneering sensors for new applications, including radon measurement and radiation monitoring in outer space (CubeSats).
